You may use the @domain.com method.
Unfortunately, Cyrus don't admit dots in user names, as dots are (the only)
mailbox hierarchy separator. (Other IMAP servers, like Netscape's, allow to
use alternate characters as separator, such as a backslash).
So you have two options:
