Unzipping with file roller does not create symbolic links even though
"Test integrity" shows the correct contents of the zip file.
I only tested this in ubuntu 10.10. However, a colleague uses ubuntu
12.04, and he has the same problem.
For an example, see the attached symlin
Bug was fixed upstream within a few months -
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=712789 .
I must say that it's quite frustrating that it's practically useless to
report bugs to ubuntu. They're either ignored or closed for
"inactivity". I don't think i'll ever do it again.

I confirm this as well, same thing here, all started after upgrading to
Quantal also with large collection (~200GB).
Got my collection mounted from my NAS through fstab, first I thought
this was the issue because noticed the 'sambafs' got deprecated and
replaced by 'cifs' in 12.10. So tried nfs/ci
On my machine the /etc/resolv was present. It said:
nameserver 127.0.0.1
search lokaal
I changed in
nameserver 8.8.8.8
search lokaal
And now i get connected and going to update.

(always?) happen right away though, it usually starts after I've used my
media keys to reduce/increase volume (that might just be a coincidence
though). Logging out and back in doesn't seem to help although it does
stop for as long
I'm seeing the same thing: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu. It also
keeps turning num lock on and off rapidly. The num lock toggling doesn't show a
clear pattern, but it does appear to happen more often when I'm typing or using
media keys (such as volume up and down).

Re-linking doesn't work in version 3.3.3.
Do you know if 3.3.4/3.3.5 should behave differently (due to code
changes)? Currently I can't install these due to missing dependencies.
