There are several of these; how about mentioning in the description the
features that make this stand out from the others (john, crack)? All
I see in this description is a feature that it doesn't have.

Ive lost interest in maintaining dmalloc and requesting someone else
take over.
Ive just uploaded a new package, it doesnt require much maintainance,
the biggest issue is it doesnt have a man page that is maintained by
upstream.

release.
I'd suggest that one should have sufficient experience to report problems
correctly--you didn't give any hint of what didn't work--and a good
understanding of build processes and autoconf before making Debian
packages, though.

Er. Both
/usr/bin/id3convert -2 --strip (libid3-dev)
and
/usr/bin/id3v2 --delete-v2 (id3v2)
will do this; why another?
Also, id3v2 is designed to not interfere with applications that don't
support them. Why not file bugs against the programs that are having
trouble with them?

Hi, its a long time since you sent in a ITP for S-tar, what is the
status of the prospective package ?
If youve changed you mind, and arent going to produce a package in the
forceeable future would you mind withdrawing your ITP so someone else
can do it.
Thanks

No objection from me, just like to point out that one of the advantages
of pump was that its a smaller binary (54kB) than dhcp-client (100kB),
however there is now udhcpc which is smaller (18kB, deps only on libc),
and i assume isnt as flawed as pump, works nicely for me.
