Er. Both /usr/bin/id3convert -2 --strip (libid3-dev) and /usr/bin/id3v2 --delete-v2 (id3v2) will do this; why another? Also, id3v2 is designed to not interfere with applications that don't support them. Why not file bugs against the programs that are having trouble with them? -- Glenn Maynard
