Its is just a server setup, and just streaming audio with mpd and icecast2
with 512MB memory (25MB+ is free) 1 cpu core, 200MB of swap (little or no

First of all, I don't think the 2.4.18-bf2.4 kernel has all the modules
you need for scsi-emulation. Find out for sure, and update ur kernel if
necissary (apt-get) (or u can compile ur own with the below modules).

It sounds like you're set to download only unread messages and these 11
have been marked as read even though the initial download didn't complete.
Try running a session explicitly telling fetchmail to get all messages.
I'm in Windows hell right now, so I can't tell you how to do that.

It depends on which distro you want. You probably want potato if you're
going to make a production server. If it's just for personal use, you want
either testing (woody) or unstable (sid). Your choice. Testing has less
bugs, but you have to wait a little while to get your software.

I've got a Windows machine and a Woody box behind my office firewall.
I use both to connect to my ISP's shell machines, and to map a port to
the remote news server.

well I was editing the wrong file: /etc/Server and I should of been editing
/etc/Xserver. I have X up and running fine now, and now I have a few
qestions about locking up X. When I start X I have this command in
