I'm using Debian 3.1 and shorewall 2.2.3
I installed samba on the same machine where I already have shorewall installed.
As I noticed samba is disabled by default in shorewall.
So, I followed the instruction in http://www.shorewall.net/samba.htm:

Dear all!
It seems this is a debian ML settings problem.
I have the other 2 ML, when I click "Reply" it is addressed to MLs.
Even when I looked at Reply-to header I can see ML's address, but here
in debian ML we see the sender's address.
Should we contact to admin of debian ML

As I understand when we do apt-get update, the system stores

Thank you, Paul!
Is it ok, if I comment out security.debian.org?
How about security updates? Or they are included in sarge?

Hello!
I want to upgrade from Woody to Sarge.
As I understand the necessary commands are:
1) apt-get update
2) apt-get upgrade
3) apt-get dist-upgrade
But do I have to change my sources.list?
Is changing "stable" into "testing" enough?
Thanks,
askar

I'm sure the addresses I use above are correct.
But I still can't ping 212.42.106.27 (which is ala-too.com).
As a network card I use BCM5703 Gigabit Ethernet.
Are there any methods to check what's the problem???

Hi!
Are the following setting files enough to be able to use global IP address:
1) /etc/hosts
2) /etc/network/interfaces
3) /etc/resolv.conf
Thanks,
