However the /opt partition (/dev/hda10) with games on it, was badly

are called. When you create a symlink to a program, does the program
know that it was started by using a symlink?
For instance when I create a vi symlink to vim, will vim start up
normally or will it mimick vi?

some real world advise.
I have a Radeon 8500 LE which I can return whithin a week.
I absolutely love the 2D- (aka desktop-) image quality. Much better
than my previous card. For better 3D-performance, alternatives are
