Greetings,
Some is offering de-installs of chromium in the normal debian update

This morning someone was trying to get away with de-installing
chromium-common and c++ software using the debian update process.
They need to be stopped forthwith.
Good luck.

There are drivers for more Brother laser printers in the package

The driver package from the Debian repository doesn't produce the

The Brother DCP-1510 printer drivers etc installer wiped /opt except

Tried to setup a 3TB disk using cfdisk and it failed silently. Suggest
that cfdisk is updated to work with current disks; 3 and 4 TB. At least
update the man page. partman is not on the production system and can't

Greetings,
What security holes have been found in Debian 7 after installing it ?
In the releases 5 and 6 tiger was run after the install and the
significant events noticed

Just in case tiger or myself miss something ...

Is there a preferred way to install Debian 7 from DVD to an external

The 100 Mb recommended size for /tmp is far too small and out of date.
Some of the others including / are also too small.
