The Brother DCP-1510 printer drivers etc installer wiped /opt except
for it self .
The same as over four years ago. One shudders to think that one actually
pays them to produce that.
The instructions to do before running the installer use two commands
which are not to be found on the system or repository; lppasswd and
aa-complain. Did none of the pre-install instructions.
The installer ran to completion. It did install three 32 bit libraries
for c and c++ .
The test page printed ok.
