Hello!
My system is a debian wheezy amd64 with multiarch enabled since I
installed eagle (i386 only) some time ago. I also had teamviewer (i386)
installed. The system was up to date most of the time.
Some days ago I tried to install a locally build version (build in a
i386 chroot environment) of

Ok! I try the packages from blackdown.org. Perhaps this the solution.

Hello!
I try to get tomcat4 running in debian (stable/testing/unstable).
I got me the current version of j2sdk (1.4.1_01) and installed it to
/usr/local/java/j2sdk1.4.1_01.
I selected tomcat4, tomcat4-admin, tomcat4-webapps and libtomcat4.java

Have you compiled your kernel with 'Parallel printer support' in section
'Character devices' ?
lp.o seem to be missing in your boot sequence.

OK!
It looks like the latest version of quota fixed the problem.
Berthold Cogel
r hints, how to solve this
problem.
I'm using Debian testing/unstable with kernel 2.2.19. I've quota on for
ext2 and reiserfs. It worked fine with an older versions of quota.
Thanks in advance

he last week. I'm doing my updates with
dselect and had to set some packages on hold last week. Yesterday I was
able to update them.

installation:
As far as I remember my experiments with mozilla, you need a shellscript
to call the program. Or you have to start it from within it's
installation directory.
I did this some months ago, so I don't remember all the details.
Berthold Cogel
think that the problem is not only related to nv_drv.o because I
copied the module from another machine running Suse 7.2. After this I
was able to start X, but there are still crashes when I stop or restart
the xserver. I would like to go back to 4.1.0-6, but I don't know where
to find the packages. All the servers I visited already have 4.1.0-7.
Berthold Cogel
e maintainer of the debian package can take this into account for one
of the next versions.

tarball from http://bytesex.org/bttv/. There are also patches for the
2.4.x kernels available. There's a patch for btaudio too. Patch the
kernel.
NOW you can configure and build it. Don't deactivate i2c. It is needed
for both, lm_sensors and bttv.
BTW: I did it myself yesterday. It worked fine.

I have the feeling that somehow somthing is broken. Is there a way to
rebuild the package status from scratch?

That's what I did, but it didn't work. Finally I got the sound
rade', deselect-apt, via Internet or cdrom.
After this bug happens, the whole system is in an undefinded state so
that I have to restore my backup.
Is there anybody, who can help?

The same happened to me when I updated from slink to potato. I did a
complete new installation ... nothing... :-( . Even going back to the
old modutils and isapnp didn't work.
Is there anybody who has a working ISA PNP Soundblaster AWE64 with
kernel 2.2.x and potoato?
Berthold Cogel
I had Red Hat.

I don't know what is wrong. I have the same problem since I updated from
Slink to Potato. Somehow the module sb tries to use IRQ7 even if I try
to set IRQ5. The same kernel (2.2.14) and the same configuration worked
well with Slink. Perhaps there's a bug in one of the packages (isapnp,
modutils ???).
Berthold Cogel
OK. I compiled the sound into
the kernel.
Thanks in advance
