We had the same problem after upgrading to 4.1.0-7. But this has nothing
to do with the bug mentioned above.
There must be a serious problem, because we had some severe crashes
after the xserver start. I had to reset the computer more than once.
Even login from another computer was impossible. Until now I was unable
to find some hints on the cause of the crashes in the logfiles. 
I think that the problem is not only related to nv_drv.o because I
copied the module from another machine running Suse 7.2. After this I
was able to start X, but there are still crashes when I stop or restart
the xserver. I would like to go back to 4.1.0-6, but I don't know where
to find the packages. All the servers I visited already have 4.1.0-7.
