Hey everyone,
I'm installing debian on an openbrick-e (http://www.hacom.net) and I've got a
system up and running but I can't configure the wireless device. when I run
iwconfig I get the following output:
wilhelm:/home/isis# iwconfig
lono wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless ext
e problem spawning a getty for this session but I
don't know what's going on. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi All,
I've set up a box here where the main method for logging in is through
the serial line
S0:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty ttyS0 9600
the problem is that the default setting is to not allow root loggins.
Does anyone know where these permissions live?

usual routine but then near the end I get an error message:

I've been playing around with NIS and NFS and now my system hangs for
about four minutes on shutdown. It goes along OK until it gets to:

then stalls and after four minutes shuts down normally.

2.4.2 kernel and I've configured kmod as described in
Documents/kmod.txt. Sadly, I can't get it to work. I've been looking
