Hi All, I'm trying to set up NIS to remote login to a server. The server is RedHat 7.0 which logs users into run level 3 and then lets them startx on thier own. The client is Debian (woody) using gdm to log users directly into run level 5.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell gdm to get it's run levels from NIS instead of trying to log the user directly into run level 5? Thanks, Andy P.S. using a command line login this setup works.
