I just went to reboot the machine without X running, so pressing ESC after post
several times and
nothing, the monitor just displayed no signal. It wasn't until well in to boot

module iwl3945.
The firmware files are installed by package firmware-iwlwifi in /lib/
firmware. The module
iwl3945.ko is provided with linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 as is iwagn.ko
and iwlcore.ko. iwlcore
