All I did this time was to re-enable the gdm script and reboot and try to log in. I turned off speakup maybe not early enough because this time the gdm script failed on line 208 because permission was denied. This is with the latest updates and unstable since that's where I can get gnome-orca.

Hi The snmp daemon on my Debian Etch Amd64 Xen Dom0 won't start at boot. The configuration works perfect, without errors, if I start manuel. I've tested the script in "/etc/rc2.d/S20snmpd" and everything else is started as it should. I've tried a script in crontab every half hour. VerifySnm
