So try some chmod

The sole reason is that this is for our organization (a college
actually) and it would look rather unprofessional to redirect users to

I accideantally fdisked my linux hard disk and deleted all
partitions, created one single solaris partition. I wanted to do this
on my second hard disk and thought I had connected the second one and
disconnected the first, but hadn't disconnected the first one really.

With kernel 2.4.26 my Sony USB dvdrw drive is at /dev/sr1.
With kernel 2.6.8 there is no /dev/sr1 and the drive is not accessable
