if you download/install the latest from sendmail.org
or exim.org or postix.or getc..
you should be able to get sendmail working out of the

The problem was there was no initrd.img file for the new kernel. So I
created the image using mkinitrd, copied the image to /boot/ and added
initrd=/boot/initrd.img-24.29-patched
After this everything was working.

I still haven't given up yet to compile my own kernel, but I am nearly
there. Meanhwile I removed the kernel and the kernel source packages and
installed them again. But even from the scratch without changing
anything I get a kernel panic from my compiled kernel. Aren't the
default settings

has a wav file output.

Heya all..
A while back one of my RH-using colleagues showed me a neat setup in the
newer RH distros - mozilla would open word docs inline using abiword,
pdf inline using xpdf, etc.. I found out this was using the 'plugger'
package.
I was happy to learn that this package was available in debian
I'm having trouble finding a converter to make wav files from my ogg
