the individual packages, but no luck. The perl perl-5.004-suid keeps giving the
same post-removal script errors.

is that (assuming both are 100Mbps), the hub can allow a maximum of 100Mbps of
traffic (so two machines trying to transfer files from a server would get 50Mbps

Well, my maxtor is at least 2-3 years. and I have this problem a
while after I upgrade to 2.4.x kernel couple of months ago. first I
thought there might be problem with 2.4 kernel, but I am not sure. and it

I am trying to run netmeeting trough a Debian
Potato machine with ip_masquerading. The loaded moules are ip_masq_raudio and
ip_masq_ftp.
I can put out video and audio, but I do not get
nothing in.

I have recompiled my kernel with kerneld support and some modules
(sound,vfat,etc) then rebooted, executed depmod -a but when I run
modconf..there is no modules to select from? I have checked in syslog and
there are no unresolved symbols, system map is correct...
what am I missing?

Tried with/without a small /boot partition, installing LILO on /dev/hda,
/dev/hda1, etc. (all combinations). But same result.

when I use startx -- :2 everything works fine, X server starts, I can
start clients that connect to that server etc...
