What on earth is going on here? I tried all the force options. I
unpack libc6_2.1.2-6 and dont see any tmp.ci/shlibs file in it. And there
is no tmp.ci/ or shlibs in /var/lib/dpkg. Any ideas? This is really

mount -o remount,rw /
it should work. since linux mounted it readonly, id suggest running a
e2fsck on it (/sbin/e2fsck / BEFORE the remount.

Anyone know any differences between FreeBSD and (debian) Linux? I currently
am using debian and am pretty happy with it. My ISP uses FreeBSD. The
Linux newsletter mentioned the super secure version of BSD called OpenBSD.
Has anyone worked with either of these ? Are they comparable to Debian

I want to use Squid-Cache as http/ftp proxy. The problem is, that the currently
running squid is very slow (128MB RAM, 2GB HDD). The new Machine have 128 MB
RAM, 10 GB HDD. Which version of memmory usage is contains in squid-2.2-sbl5?
