Linux fdisk doesn't see past 1024 cylindars, I have a 20.4GB HD which
requires over 2000 cylindars. As well I have win95 on hda1, I want to
put linux on hda2, however lilo doesn't sit well in a FAT32, or screws
up because of the HD size.

Yesterday I rebooted my machine, and now I am unable to initiate any network
connections. I can ping the box from the outside, and get web pages served
by apache, but I can't do anything from that box. (ssh doesn't work,
presumably because it tries to do a name lookup on the remote ip). dhcp

I noticed this to when I have built new kernels, I didn't manage to fix it but
I had to run 'make-kpkg clean' first before it would do it. Hope this helps.

Why is that when I build a new kernel via make-kpkg, it doesn't make a
new kernel rev.
Scenario:
Previously, I built a new kernel using:
make-kpkg --rev Custom.1.0 kernel_image
This command built my kernel and put an file in my /usr/src
directory called. kernel-image
