Is something broke with the mirrors? The only thing I changed -- I was worried my squid was preventing me from seeing the updates on the servers, so I commented out the Proxy line in my /etc/apt/apt.conf file, ran apt-get update, uncommented it again, and re-ran apt-get update. This next time, it found 30 new packages, so I ran apt-get upgrade, and the following mess of error messages followed.
