Hi. I ran through my first Debian installation last night. The installation procedure is very nice! The last time I installed Linux was with Slackware 2.3(!); Debian is a huge improvement. (I am using 1.3.1.) My question regards putting lots of partitions onto my meager 2.1 GB SCSI drive.

I notice that the bo archive got changed 15JUL1997 with a newer disk set symlinked to current. Shouldn't the version be incremented to 1.3.2 to distinguish it from the previous one? Hi, this is very strange... I can connect to my Debian box using PPP from Windows 95 using the AutoPPP feature of mgetty, but I can not connect from Windows NT (well, sort of.) What happens is that in the "Server Type:TCP/IP Properties" dialog of the dial-up networking connection, the user can sp
