Whatever it was that generated the issue, after removing the
.xsession-errrors file, I can no longer reproduce it. So I'm closing
this.
Do you think the size of .xsession-error could have triggered this?
I deleted the file on my machine, to have something smaller to send,
and restarted the session to make sure that the file was closed.
After doing this, I can't seem to reproduce the issue, while before it

OK, so you actually have to wait for hours. I will try to reproduce
this. I normally suspend my computer when I lock the machine for a
longer period to consume energy

Btw, could you please provide Xorg.0.log and ${HOME}/.xsession-erro

Hi!
I have been using KDE5 with SDDM on Debian unstable for almost a year now
and I never observed this issue. Do you have any pointers on how to recreate
your environment to be able to reproduce this issue? Is there anything in

Dear Maintainer,
the screen locker in plasma is awful.
Locking and immediately unlocking works fine.
Waiting a bit, the locker doesn't show the dots when typing, but works fine
otherwise.
