Do you think the size of .xsession-error could have triggered this? I deleted the file on my machine, to have something smaller to send, and restarted the session to make sure that the file was closed. After doing this, I can't seem to reproduce the issue, while before it would happen by keeping

Suspending&locking is the way I use to workaround the issue, but sometimes I do need the machine to be running. My .xsession-errors is HUGE and contains lots of details I don't want to make public. I can try tomorrow, wiping it and reproducing the issue, to minimise the amount of noise in that fil
