If I had to guess, I'd guess that the crash is actually coming from
somewhere in kdelibs. Umbrello doesn't really do anything much more
exotic than ask for a filename and write to the corresponding fil

Some remarks
1 I can't reproduce the problem.
2 Kbuildsycoca should always be run at the appropriate times, it has
fam and stuff for directory watching to make sure of that. I'm not
sure why it wouldn't do so in your case. umbrell
