Some remarks 1 I can't reproduce the problem. 2 Kbuildsycoca should always be run at the appropriate times, it has fam and stuff for directory watching to make sure of that. I'm not sure why it wouldn't do so in your case. umbrello installs its mime type in the correct directory. 3 Even if kde hasn't yet picked up the mimetype, that's no reason for umbrello to crash. cheers domi
