I am trying to build a package which depends on sqlite3. This breaks my
package in funny ways.

Package: php5-sqlite3
Version: 0.4-2
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks unrelated software
The package installs the include file in the path:
/usr/share/php5/DB/sqlite3.php
This path is not included by default. From what I see in php-db, that
file belongs in /usr/share/php/DB/sqlit
Indeed g-p-a is deprecated as far as I know.

.. minus important bug fixes ..
It all depends on your definition of crippled.

A patch was never sent, just the idea suggested. With one notable
exception the FFmpeg developers hate autotools and FFmpeg will never
replace the current build system by autotools.

w
able several video
filters, so there would be even more feature loss.
Plus I expect random bugs to creep up. As mentioned above FFmpeg is
highly volatile and fast-moving. Backwards-compatibility is not a
priority.
