This bug is caused by the way va_list is used in src/send.c which
seems to cause problems on (at least) amd64 and ppc.
Upstream has fixed this last December (see r286 and r288 in svn).

Ciao Flavio,
I have compiled a 2.6.16 kernel using CONFIG_OBSOLETE_INTERMODULE=y,
which provides the inter_module functions. The fglrx kernel module loads
fine and gives me 3D accel, but I still have Luigi's problem.

By the way: Your bug severity of 'grave' is _not_ justified, because the

why do remove the testsuite? I think it would make more sense to
investigate the error and either remove the package from s390 or fix
the underlying error. Right now users might experience that problem on
this architecture (and possibly others) without noticing. Testuits are
