Sorry for the delay in getting back to the bug on this. It took me some
time to get some stable kFreeBSD testing environments set up (KVM for the
win, btw), and I ran through a bunch of tests on the package.
As I was doing so, I ran into several gnarly issues, and in researching

I got a little overzealous yesterday and decided that there's probably not
any reason why the "golang" packages aren't available on kFreeBSD other
than lack of interest/testing. So I installed me a VM and played around.
I tested that the packages build and install
