Dear Maintainer,
I upgraded my stable distribution (with wheezy-updates repository at the time).
There was a conflict between xul-ext-adblock-plus and icedove and some of
icedove's extensions. Since there is a dependency on the gnome meta
Could this dependency please be dropped? I understand that "metapackages
are not a supermarket" but having gnome depend on adblock-plus seems like a
violation of the debian package policy which states:
"The Depends field should be used if the depended-on package is required
for the depending packag
Agreed, what is the point of making this a required dependency ?

Please, can this annoyance be removed? ABP should be installed by those who
