Could this dependency please be dropped? I understand that "metapackages are not a supermarket" but having gnome depend on adblock-plus seems like a violation of the debian package policy which states: "The Depends field should be used if the depended-on package is required for the depending package to provide a significant amount of functionality." This is clearly not the case. "The Recommends field should list packages that would be found together with this one in all but unusual installations." which also isn't the case. Even "Suggests" doesn't seem warranted in my perspective.
