and clicked 'new scan' several times (didn't manage to crash the

simple-scan usually crashes after 5-6 pages on my father's PC :
Debian Wheezy 64 bits with GNOME and particularly :

i have encoutered a similar bug with simple-scan 3.2.1-1, found in
Debian Wheezy.
However, my scanner is HP-OfficeJet OfficeJet 6500 (networked).
