However, my scanner is HP-OfficeJet OfficeJet 6500 (networked). The additional info is the standard output of simple scan : last two lines, concerning the last scanned sheet and the error and crash occuring while saving the document after having validated the file selector dialog ** (simple-scan:3292): WARNING **: scanner.vala:1201: Scan completed with 1400 lines, expected 1400 lines simple-scan: malloc.c:3096: sYSMALLOc: Assertion `(old_top == (((mbinptr) (((char *) &((av)->bins[((1) - 1) * 2])) - __builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd)))) && old_size == 0) || ((unsigned long) (old_size) >= (unsigned long)((((__builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd_nextsize))+((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) - 1)) & ~((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) - 1))) && ((old_top)->size & 0x1) && ((unsigned long)old_end & pagemask) == 0)' failed. -- Stéphane Leibovitsch GPG fingerprint = 6574 BCE7 6190 7EA7 31B6 C6AC B4EC C20B E372 DEB5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
