I just tried reportbug-ng 1.0.1 and it didn't show the
/usr/share/bug/$package/presubj files, thus reopening the
bug.

The very name of this package implies a modification or fancier version
of 'reportbug' -- users therefore expect the same or very similar
features. If the name wasn't so derivative, the expectation wouldn't
be as strong.

As already explained, I consider this report as a feature request
(namely to emulate a reportbug specific feature) and not as a defect in
rng.
If you can't agree with me and want to see a higher severity for this
bug don't just upgrade it again. Instead, we should as
