Sorry to be so contrary... but the current version does not seem to be
like that. The man page says:

-L[efos]
Specify where logging output should be directed (standard error
or output, to a file or via syslog). See LOGGING OPTIONS in
snmpcmd(1) for details.

The file /lib/systemd/system/snmptrapd.service ends up with line
ExecStart=/usr/sbin/snmptrapd -LOw -f -p /run/snmptrapd.pid
whereas I guess that should instead be
ExecStart=/usr/sbin/snmptrapd -Lsd -f
with
