I don't know for the author but I have a similar problem.
Mounting USB volumes threw gnome 3 works well, but unmounting them (ie
threw nautilus) does not work at all.
The error window says that the volume is busy (even if no program use
it: nautilus directory is located somewhere else).

For the moves, it seems to be less than before.
However there are still laps between the mouse position and the window
position. It is very noticeable when you do 'circles' with the mouse.
About the resize, it now works like a charm ! :)

After some more tests, it always happen with xfce4-terminal with me.
Since you said it worked for you with this program, I first thought this
was because I use undecorated terminals, but after putting decoration
again, it still didn't worked.
So, some more things that might be useful for you
As much as I could test it, the problem didn't arose again with:
