It would be https://gitlab.com/hmmr/aghermann. I'll amend the links on
my page shortly.

Upstream has released a new version (2.0.3), which is substantially
architecturally different and ships as a set of packages
(cnrun-tools, libcnrun2{,-dev}, lua-cnrun), rather than a single one.
Decision is to retire the old cnrun package (and have #826867 autocl

I think I'd better rip these defines outright. Will push 1.1.1 in a few
days.

Aha, I see. Your patch is legit, then.
I think I will incorporate it into a new upstream version (which will fix
yet another bug). It's around the corner.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the patch. I remember this issue has already popped up a
while ago, and I have taken steps to ensure the 'build_date' define is
ignored when aghermann is built for debian:
https://github.com/hmmr/aghermann/blob/master/debian/rules#L7 and
https://github.com/hmmr/aghermann/blob/
Chris,
Thanks for the patch. I would like to note, however, that cnrun is on
the way out. Upstream has already shipped cnrun2, which is built from
the same repo but results in different packages. My suggestion is to
retire cnrun, when this bug gets a higher priority (or now).
Cheers,
Andrei
On 9
aghermann-1.0.9 can be built with gcc-6 and thus closes the bug.
The bug was actually fixed in 1.0.8, which somehow didn't make it to unstable.

Yaroslav does the uploads for me, actually, so I believe he could be
of some help here. Honestly, I only know my part in the process, and
that is to add a changelog entry, mark it 'experimental', run debuild

As for the rep

Aghermann upstream has fixed the ftbfs with gcc-6, and here's the new
version of it:

thus closing the bug.
Here's hoping Debian is not trying gcc-7 next week :}

Trevor,
That piece of code seems to come from some GTK example iirc, and
certainly will benefit from some intelligent reworking. It relies on
the idiomatic equivalence of `target_list[]` and `*tatget_list`, which
gcc-6 apparently takes issue with.
It's difficult to tackle it practically because g
e/deb/cnrun_2.0.3-1.dsc,
which also depends on libgsl-dev | libgsl0-dev as you suggested.
Humbly asking to retry upload,

Hi Yaroslav & Bas,
Here's a new version of cnrun2 which builds with the new libgsl-dev:

Hey Yaroslav & Bas,
Sorry for getting a bit late with an apparently simple fix. Here's
version 1.0.7, which builds with gsl-2.0:
http://johnhommer.com/academic/code/aghermann/source/deb/aghermann_1.0.7-1.dsc.
Cheers,

Rodolphe, Thanks a lot!
I've been preoccupied by other things in the past few days, and just found
time yesterday to open devhelp and read up on the new API, but you beat me to
this!
Going to apply the patch and prepare -1.0.5 and take care of the rest.
Merci!

David,
There was a bug filed against libitpp-dev (#710818), now closed, which is why
aghermann failed to configure.
The build breakage must have occurred between itpp versions:

Hi Martin,
Thanks for proofreading it, only it's not a typo actually. "Achermann" is in
fact the correct spelling of a living person's name (it's the guy who did the
original math), and "Aghermann" is my project's name. Dr Achermann is aware of
Aghermann AFAIK, and doesn't seem to mind :)
