So, here are my further tests...
Darktable crashes as soon as I load a directory with raw images in the
light table, which already contains an edited photo. A directory with
exclusively unedited photos is loaded without any problems.
But as soon as I open a photo for editing, it crashes. Here is
homedecor_gastronomy. Therefore I think the package relationship can be
changed from "Depends" to "Recommends".

the attached patch is a workaround that unsets the variable
SESSION_MANAGER in
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/55xfce4-session. This way it is possible to first
log into GNOME, log out and then log into Xfce.

Dear Maintainer,
On the graphs page when trying to use the right hand side search box. the
search box clears and reloads when I enter the first letter. This happens in
all browsers I have tried.
I tracked it down to line 1216 in /usr/share
that fixes this problem by running mksquashfs with
"nice". I tested it on many machines for several weeks now and
everything kept running smoothly.

Hi all
I would suggest to use the provided svg icon instead of creating many
png files with different resolutions.
This saves space and looks crisp everywhere.
We only have to add a simple link (see attached patch).
