Package: libreoffice-common Version: 1:6.1.5-3 Severity: normal LibreOffice saves its AutoRecovery information in its "Temporary files" path which is in Debian per default "/tmp". This leads to data loss when the system crashes or has a power outage because /tmp in Debian is deleted at every reboot. (This is not just a theoretical possibility but our users already run into exactly this situation.)
Therefore, the default value for the "Temporary files" path of LibreOffice should be something persistent, e.g. ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/tmp Thanks Ronny -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CRAP Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH:de (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libreoffice-common depends on: ii libnumbertext-data 1.0.5-1 ii libreoffice-style-colibre 1:6.1.5-3 ii libreoffice-style-tango 1:6.1.5-3 ii ure 6.1.5-3 Versions of packages libreoffice-common recommends: ii apparmor 2.13.2-10 ii fonts-liberation2 2.00.5-1 ii libexttextcat-data 3.4.5-1 ii python3-uno 1:6.1.5-3 ii xdg-utils 1.1.3-1 Versions of packages libreoffice-common suggests: ii libreoffice-style-colibre [libreoffice-style] 1:6.1.5-3 ii libreoffice-style-elementary [libreoffice-style] 1:6.1.5-3 ii libreoffice-style-tango [libreoffice-style] 1:6.1.5-3 Versions of packages python3-uno depends on: ii libc6 2.28-8 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libpython3.7 3.7.3~rc1-1 ii libreoffice-core 1:6.1.5-3 ii libstdc++6 8.3.0-6 ii python3 3.7.2-1 ii python3.7 3.7.3~rc1-1 ii uno-libs3 6.1.5-3 ii ure 6.1.5-3 -- no debconf information
