When I create a VM in VMware with RAM larger than 13GB for example 14GB,
the countdown of 5 seconds takes as long as 60 seconds.
The countdown of 5 seconds is normal when I change the RAM size to less
than 13GB.

What version of MySQL were you using when you were using the binaries
from MySQL?
Does ndb_show_tables show the table?
If it does, what does ndb_desc show for that table?

libndbclient. We have a fix around, but it's just for libndbclient. I'm

Could we upload it to unstable but still keep mysql-server pointing to
mysql-server-5.0? I already use 5.1 for everything I do (especially for
cluster) and although I can obviously make my own packages, it might be
nice to let it be there if someone specifically _wants_ to choose it.

multiple root password accounts are created. One account is just fine.
