Yup. It's a bug alright.

The problem is stemming from having split files that were all in
libmemcached3 into multiple packages without having added conflicts
relationships. (Bad transition, in other words)

I'll upload a new version with that relationship added, plus upload a
new version of gearmand which is the only thing using libmemcached3
still, so hopefully it can fall out of the archive, too.
