/usr/share/python2.5.
BTW, this kind of Python issues really annoy me from time to time...

on a clean new user's home? Or just move away your ~/.evolution
directory and restart from scratch.

Does it always failed on message "118"?
It would be helpful to run evolution with:
$ CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution &> evolution-debug.out
and attach evolution-debug.out for debugging.
