For me: I only have an IMAP account (imaps), and new messages do not
appear automatically. Sometimes, I can force a refresh by entering a
resetting the filter, but most of the time: closing the INBOX tab, and
re-opening it does the trick.

in /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt . Not /etc/ssl/certs + symlinks.
