I tried on my main account using KDE with a file with

In 2.2.9 If I did not fill out the account field for a split it would
default in Orphan-USD and leave my typed amount in place.
Now it still defaults in Orphan-USD, but it clears the amount that I typed.
Can the old behavior
In particular, it appears that this package should depend on grub-legacy.
When run from the command line (as root) it displays the following error
Could not find grub's menu.lst.
Please make sure you're using legacy grub (ie. not grub2)
Aborting.
However, there is an entry in the menu with the
pful to give some perspective about how we got here.

I totally missed the pattern when I first submitted this. It appears
that this is much easier to reproduce. Apparently any negative number
that is stored will be lost on the next invocation.

The problem is that one of the characters before the PAM is a tab
instead of a space. Here is my first patch ever. Woohoo! Should these
go in as some sort of MIME attachment or does directly in the body of
the email work?
