In particular, it appears that this package should depend on grub-legacy.
When run from the command line (as root) it displays the following error Could not find grub's menu.lst. Please make sure you're using legacy grub (ie. not grub2) Aborting. However, there is an entry in the menu with the command su-to-root -c /usr/sbin/grub-choose-default In that case, apparently nothing at all happens. I'm not sure if it is because of the above error message or if it is because su-to-root (when run from the terminal) is expecting you to enter the root password. I'm not sure if it does something helpful from the menu. I certainly didn't get an authorization box like I do with gksu commands. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
