Update: it appears that the deja-dup monitor is not launched automaticall
at log-in. When started manually, it schedules back-ups as expected.
The monitor (Déjà Dup Monitor) is registered under Startup Applications in
gnome tweak tool.
Update: Apparently, the graphs draw correctly (as far as I can tell) if I
uncheck the box "Use Stacked Bars".
Also, apparently pie charts draw correctly.

I, too, have this problem, but with standard unencrypted connections. At least

was that the systray module was kind of a hack that wasn't intended to work with
illume.
It is also unlikely to see any work towards this coming from upstream, so I'm
