issues (reported separately), and did make it past the chroot_firmware
script, so clearly its failing to download the file and just continuing
without (additional?) firmware.

It's possible it's failing because there's changes that aren't in patches in
debian/patches - I ran into this problem when making unique changes for my fork
of the package once, so all my changes now are made as part of quilt patches -
if changes are done in a patch it solves the "unexpected cha

I previously assumed that the image viewers are using colord for
conversion. If that isn't so, this bug maybe should be moved to the

I believe I have the same issue and I also have hybrid graphics. On boot,
when using fglrx display drivers, gdm shows a black screen (when I should
have the login screen). I have no error in /var/log/Xorg.0.log (except a
