Only two slight problems I stumbled upon:
- My NFSv4-mounted directories lost ownership information (everything
set to nobody/nogroup), which I had to fix by manual

Msmtp 1.4.30 was released on October 21, 2012 and it fixes the bug
introduced in version 1.4.29 that broke the -t/--read-recipients option
when --read-envelope-from was used.
This bug makes msmtp 1.4.29 unusable for me. Please update the package.
