When building gvfs from git, I hit this problem.
Apparently the linking is against this file:
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.6/../../../i386-linux-gnu/libfuse.so
but it points to /lib/libfuse.so which doesn't exist.

this is a duplicate of #554162, which was fixed in 0.8.5-2. I will keep
this one open and tag it against squeeze and will suggest a
security update (although as I have argued in the original report it is
not really a security hole, rather lack of additional promised s

Then, run something like

Hi!
It seems that this behavior is still present in reportbug 6.3
Using "reportbug --src package" or "reportbug --source package" I still
see "Package: package" instead "Source: package".
Thank you!
Best regards,

Hi and thank you for this bug report.
This package seems to FTBFS because of a bug in Vala.
Please see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660361
Apparently, this bug is fixed in upstream Git. So we have to wait for a new
release.

The attached patch roughly implements dropping defoma support in this
package.
Please notice that I have a few doubts:
- the package doesn't provide any defoma hints file
- it only provides a defoma script
- there are mysterious references to "DEFOMAFILES" in
