that you reported. The changes are a much more extensive than I expected.
Mainly due to a mixture of necessary and arguably non-essential clean-ups.

Actually, $ogg->clear solves the problem. But then, the clear method
should be called when the object is destroyed. I've attached a patch.
This patch calls ov_clear directly, but this seems to work even when
ov_clear has already been called (doing $ogg->clear twice is allo
i830_sdvo.c has been removed from xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.10.0. Once
we have a binary for that version we'll ask you to test and see if it
helps. You may need linux kernel 2.6.32.

I've experienced the same symptoms since upgrading to 1:7.5 on my
ThinkPad X60t. Also using the intel driver.
Disabling kernel mode setting seems to have fixed things for me:
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/i915-kms.conf
options i915 modeset=0
