Package: auditd
Version: 1.7.13-1+b1
Severity: normal

It seems that /etc/default/auditd defaults on using en_US as a locale,
which can at best be judged as a slightly naïve opinion.

Either get the default system locale from /etc/environment or define
it as "none" (or C).
